Plant Manager

Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking an experienced Plant Manager with a strong manufacturing industry background for a new opportunity with our client here in the Piedmont Triad area.
The Plant Manager will be responsible for organizing, directing, and improving all manufacturing activities within the facility, including production, maintenance, quality, and safety.
This role sets operational goals, monitors key performance indicators (KPIs), and drives initiatives that enhance throughput, reduce waste, and maintain regulatory compliance.

• Leaddailyplantoperations,includingproductionscheduling,staffing,material flow,andequipmentutilizationtoachieveoutputandon‑timedeliverytargets.
• Ensureasafeworkenvironmentbyenforcingsafetypolicies,conductingaudits,andmaintainingcompliancewith
  
  OSHA,environmental,andotherregulatoryrequirements.
• Ownproductqualityperformancebypartneringwithqualityteamstomaintainstandards,reducedefectsandscrap,andaddresscustomercomplaintsornonconformances.
• Manageplantbudgetsandcoststructures,controlling labor,materials,andoverheadwhileidentifyingandimplementingcost‑reductionopportunities.
• Developandexecuteproductionplansthatalignwithcustomerdemand,capacity,andinventorytargets,using
  
  KPIssuchas
  
  OEE,yield,andscheduleattainment.
• Championcontinuousimprovementusing Lean,Six Sigma,andothermethodologiestostreamlineprocesses,eliminatewaste,andincreaseefficiency.
• Hire,develop,coach,andevaluatesupervisorsandfrontlinestaff,fosteringacultureofaccountability,teamwork,andhighperformance.
• Collaboratewithmaintenance,supply chain,engineering,andqualitytocoordinatedowntime,newproductintroductions,andequipmentorprocesschanges.
• Maintainaccurateoperationaldocumentationandreports,includingproduction,downtime,safety incidents,andperformancemetricsforleadershipreview.

• Bachelor’sdegreeinengineering,manufacturing,operations management,business,orarelatedfield(orequivalentexperienceinplantoperationsorengineering).
• 10+yearsofprogressiveexperienceinmanufacturingorplantoperations,includingseveralyearsinasupervisoryormanagementrole.
• Demonstratedexperienceleadingaproductionfacilityormajorproductionareawithresponsibilityforsafety,quality,delivery,andcostperformance.
• Proventrackrecordimplementing Lean,Six Sigma,orothercontinuousimprovementinitiativesinamanufacturingenvironment.

• Strong
  leadership
  andpeople‑management skills,withtheabilitytoengageteams,manageconflict,anddrivechangeacrossshiftsanddepartments.
• Deepunderstandingofmanufacturingprocesses,productionplanning,andcapacitymanagement,includinguseof
  
  KPIsanddataanalysistools.
• Solidknowledgeofqualitysystemsandstandards,suchas
  
  ISOframeworks,andtheabilitytomaintainandimprovequalityperformance.
• Excellent problem‑solving,decision‑making,andorganizationalskills,withtheabilitytoprioritizeandexecuteinafast‑paced environment.
• Strongfinancialandbusinessacumen,includingbudgeting,cost control,andbasic
