About the RoleWe are recruiting a reliable Traffic Marshall / Site Labourer for an ongoing project in Reigate, Surrey.
This is a dual-purpose role where you will manage vehicle access and traffic safety at the site entrance, while assisting with general labouring duties across the site during quieter delivery periods.
Key Responsibilities- Traffic Control:
Safely guiding construction vehicles, delivery lorries, and plant machinery into and out of site gates using standard hand signals. - Gate & Pedestrian Safety:
Managing pedestrian safety near site entry points and keeping public walkways clear of site traffic. - Delivery Logging:
Checking in delivery drivers, inspecting delivery notes, and directing lorries to designated unloading bays. - General Labouring:
Assisting site trades, clearing construction waste, sweeping access routes, and keeping skips tidy during delivery downtime. - Strictly enforcing site traffic management plans and health & safety standards.
- Valid Traffic Marshall / Vehicle Banksman Ticket (CPCS, NPORS, or Lantra accredited essential).
- Valid CSCS Card (Green Labourer card or above).
- Full PPE (High-vis jacket & trousers, steel toe boots, hard hat, and safety gloves).
- Previous experience in a combined gate, traffic management, and labouring role.
- Strong communication skills, punctual, and highly dependable.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (40-45 hours per week). - Start Date:
Immediate / Upcoming. - Duration:
Long-term ongoing work. - Weekly pay via CIS, Umbrella, or PAYE options.
