As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment. You will play a key role in helping pupils build confidence, stay motivated and reach their full potential.
About the Role as a Teaching Assistant- Support the class teacher with daily learning activities and classroom management.
- Work with pupils individually or in small groups to reinforce learning and improve understanding.
- Assist with classroom preparation, organisation and resource setting.
- Encourage positive behaviour and help maintain a calm, safe learning environment.
- Support pupils during lessons, break times, group tasks and school activities.
- Build strong relationships with pupils to help promote engagement and confidence.
- Enthusiastic, patient and proactive individuals.
- A genuine interest in working with children and supporting their development.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Adaptability and confidence working across different age groups and subjects.
- Previous school experience is desirable but not essential—motivation and attitude matter most.
