Overview

Housekeeper – Reigate, Surrey. Join Signature Senior Lifestyle as a Housekeeper at our luxury care and nursing home in Reigate. You will apply high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness to residents’ homes and communal living spaces, ensure linen is kept clean and identify potential fire and accident risks to support residents’ safety.

• From £12.60 per hour
• Full time day shifts available, 07.00 – 18.00
• Up to 30 days annual leave, plus 8 bank holidays (depending on length of service)

• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of resident rooms and communal areas
• Work in laundry ensuring linen is clean and stored correctly for resident comfort and hygiene
• Identify potential fire and accident risks and work with housekeeping and maintenance to reduce risks to resident safety
• Support other departments including Food & Beverage and Wellbeing & Lifestyle across Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Wellbeing & Lifestyle teams

• NVQ Level 1 or equivalent in a similar role advantageous
• Experience in a similar housekeeping role
• Kind, compassionate, positive, resilient, proactive, organised, honest, accountable, passionate and keen to develop
• High personal standards of cleanliness and hygiene, effective written and verbal communication
