IT Solutions Support Consultant

Salary: £47,000 - 52,000 per year

• We require at least 3 years of experience in the IT industry as a delivery engineer.
• We require Microsoft certification in the M365 and Azure ecosystem.
• We require experience with Acronis, Microsoft Defender, Mimecast, and N-able.
• We require knowledge of cloud computing solutions, including Azure, VMware, and Hyper‑V.
• We require low‑level data networking design experience, including LAN/WAN.
• We require experience with data networking security, including ACLs and firewall rules.
• We require some experience in a presales or consultant role, designing solutions and scoping support for M365 environments.
• We require experience escalating to manufacturers when needed and working closely with them until successful resolution.
• We require strong customer care skills, both on site and remotely.
• We require strong written communication skills for clear, concise documentation, proposals, and solution summaries.
• We require active listening skills to understand requirements and respond effectively to queries.
• We require the ability to work well in teams and be an organised self‑starter.

• We support our Sales function by designing and positioning technical solutions that meet customer requirements, with a primary focus on MSP offerings.
• We work closely with Account Managers, senior Solution Consultants, and technical teams to develop high‑quality, commercially viable solutions.
• We learn our full IT product portfolio.
• We support Account Managers with proposals, solution overviews, high‑level designs, and related documentation.
• We prepare technical detail for customer meetings, presentations, and bids.
• We support customer engagements, including meetings, workshops, and solution presentations.
• We build positive relationships with customers, sales teams, and internal technical stakeholders.
• We keep up to date with manufacturer and supplier updates and maintain the necessary targeted accreditations.

The salary is £47,000 to £52,000.
