Senior Supply Planner

Senior Supply Planner Reigate, Surrey | Up to £50,000 | Office-based, 5 days A step up for an experienced planner who wants real ownership. My client is an established, employee-owned food business based in Reigate with an international supply chain, and they’re building out a proper Procurement team — this is the senior planning role at the heart of it.

You’ll own the supply plan for a key part of the portfolio, run supplier performance reviews, manage the tricky stuff (long lead times, shipping disruption, launches and delists), and coach the Supply Planners along the way. It’s a role where your analysis directly shapes sourcing and negotiation decisions.

What you’ll be doing Own the end-to-end supply plan for your categories and suppliers Optimise stock cover and ordering parameters — cutting shortages and excess without hurting service Lead supplier reviews and hold them to account on service, quality and lead times Plan for launches, delists, packaging changes and supplier switches Coach and support the Supply Planners and deputise for the Head of Procurement What we’re looking for Strong supply planning, procurement or inventory experience — food, FMCG or international supply chain ideal Ownership of complex supplier or product portfolios, including long lead times and disruption Sharp analytical skills and advanced spreadsheets, plus ERP or planning systems Confident supplier management and negotiation — able to challenge and get commitments Calm under pressure, with a good grasp of international shipping, imports and duties What’s in it for you Salary up to £50,000 Discretionary EOT bonus (it’s an employee-owned business) Matched pension contributions up to 5% Healthcare and life cover 23 days’ holiday, increasing with length of service If this sounds like you, I’d love to hear from you.
