We're looking for an Assistant Recruitment Administration Team Lead to help shape and deliver an excellent recruitment administration service for Surrey County Council.

About the Role

As the Assistant Recruitment Administration Team Lead, you will support the Recruitment Administration Team Lead in delivering an efficient, high-quality recruitment administration service across Surrey County Council. You'll help oversee day-to-day workload management, ensuring service level agreements and key performance indicators are met, and that processes remain safe, compliant and effective. You'll work closely with administrators offering guidance, coaching and clear direction so that the team can deliver an excellent customer focused service to hiring managers and candidates.

You will also coordinate reporting and contribute to continuous improvement across recruitment systems, processes and procedures. This includes ensuring accurate onboarding, contracts and preemployment checks, supporting operational delivery teams, and contributing to projects that enhance the council's ability to attract and onboard talented people. You'll collaborate widely with colleagues across People & Change and the wider organisation, championing efficient, consistent, and resident focused ways of working.
