A modern, independent estate agency is looking to recruit a Lettings Negotiator for its busy Reigate office. The role would suit an enthusiastic property professional, although candidates at a more junior level with the right attitude and potential will also be considered.

You will be involved in generating new instructions, building relationships with landlords and tenants, arranging viewings and negotiating successful lets.

Whether you already have lettings experience or are looking to develop your career, you will need a proactive approach, excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to customer service.

• Generating new lettings instructions and developing business opportunities
• Building and maintaining relationships with landlords and prospective tenants
• Registering applicants and matching them to suitable rental properties
• Arranging and conducting property viewings
• Negotiating offers and progressing lets through to completion
• Working towards individual and branch targets while delivering excellent customer service

• Previous experience in residential lettings or estate agency preferred, although more junior candidates will be considered
• A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
• Good communication and relationship-building skills
• A professional approach to customer service
• A confident telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills
• Ambition and motivation to work towards targets
• Smart presentation and the ability to work well under pressure as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence and own car essential, with knowledge of the Reigate area advantageous
