Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $20.00/hr

Responsibilities
  • Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including all required system start‑ups, cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for business. Responsible for opening the back door for deliveries.
  • Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change as requested to cash registers.
  • Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
  • Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
  • Coach other team members on warehouse and vendor ordering processes and assist with order release and reverse logistics.
  • Document and register all sales, scanning errors, price verifications, and voids on assigned cash registers.
  • Assist in reviewing promotional displays, performing resets and revisions, and maintaining accurate inventory counts.
  • Ensure compliance with pricing, local regulations, and the Outdate program; assist with bookkeeping activities, including cash reports and ledgers.
  • Maintain store appearance by assisting with interior and exterior maintenance and making necessary repair requests.
  • Separate food items, assist in stock rotation and restock outs, and ensure proper placement as per policies.
  • Assist at the Pharmacy out window as requested and ensure compliance with state and local regulations for regulated products.
  • Perform bag checks, comply with all company policies, and complete special assignments as directed.
  • Attend training and complete required PPLs requested by Manager.
  • Serve as a liaison between management and non‑management team members by communicating assigned tasks in the absence of management and reporting disciplinary issues and customer complaints.
Basic Qualifications
  • One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of store inventory control.
  • Consideration of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
  • Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
