Flybotix is a recognized Swiss robotics scale-up (based near Lausanne) building the ASIO indoor-inspection drone, which keeps humans out of hazardous confined spaces while delivering 20+ minutes of visual inspection for sewer, hydro power, oil & gas, maritime and chemical-plant applications.

As an Embedded Firmware Engineer, you join the R&D team to design, develop and maintain the embedded firmware for Flybotix's indoor inspection drones. You optimize real-time, bare-metal and embedded Linux applications, develop sensor drivers and low-level libraries, and ensure robustness through automated testing and CI/CD.

• design and maintain drone firmware
• run feasibility studies
• optimize real-time/bare-metal/embedded Linux applications
• develop and test sensor drivers, low-level libraries and RTOS-based solutions
• implement automated testing and CI/CDcollaborate with Robotics and Production teams on integration and deployment
• document designs and test specifications

• 5+ years in C/C++ embedded firmware development for ARM platforms
• expertise in embedded Linux and kernel customization, real-time/bare-metal design, STM
  32 MCU programming and RTOS (NuttX, FreeRTOS), sensor drivers and hardware-software integration, and MCU tooling
• experience with automated testing/CI/CD and embedded debugging
• drone/robotics/UAV experience strongly preferred
• strong English (French a plus)
