Production Team Leader

Position: Production Team Leader (Permanent)

We are now in search for 2x Production Team Leaders to join the team! This position will report directly to the Site General Manager and sit as a key member of the site senior leadership team.

Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for your shift, leading teams to deliver against Health & Safety, Quality, Performance, and KPI targets, while driving a strong culture of training, development, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead EHS performance on shift, driving safe working practices and KPI delivery

* Own shift performance across safety, quality, output, and people management

* Manage corrective actions from incidents and audits, ensuring timely close-out

* Balance production plans to achieve output targets cost-effectively with minimal inventory

* Drive continuous improvement

* Lead operational introduction of new technology and processes into production

* Ensure teams are fully trained, competent, and capable of meeting production targets

* Set objectives, manage performance, and support development across your team

* Manage attendance, performance, and capability in line with company procedures

About You

* Proven experience in a manufacturing, Production, or Processing background

* Confident supervising teams and acting as the technical SME on shift

* Strong understanding of EHS principles and quality-led manufacturing

* Track record of improving efficiency, performance, and team capability

* A proactive, solutions-focused leader with strong communication skills

This role is also applicable to experienced Technical Operators or Manufacturing Technicians who are looking for a step up
