This Production Op role in Renfrew involves assembling generators within a skilled manufacturing team. Working full time on a temporary basis, initially, the successful applicant will build products using hand and power tools, interpret basic engineering drawings, and follow written instructions. Collaboration with colleagues is essential to maintain smooth production flow. Hourly pay ranges from £12.71 to £13.66, with genuine potential for the assignment to become permanent. Candidates should possess practical assembly experience, manual dexterity, and the ability to read technical documentation accurately.
Production Operative – Generator Assembly Renfrew Pertemps are delighted to be recruiting Production Operatives for a well-established and growing business based in Renfrew. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for someone with hands-on experience who enjoys practical, assembly-based work.
The Role:
Working as part of a skilled production team, you will be involved in the assembly and build of generators, ensuring all products meet high quality and safety standards.
- Assembling generators using hand and power tools
- Reading and following basic engineering drawings and work instructions
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure high standards are met
- Supporting the production line to meet daily targets
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Working collaboratively with team members and supervisors
- Previous production, assembly, or manufacturing experience
- Confident using hand tools
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Reliability and a positive, team-focused attitude
Monday to Friday 7:00am – 3:00pm with early finish on Fridays
Pay & Benefits:£12.71 per hour for the first 12 weeks £13.66 per hour after 12 weeks Overtime available and paid at a premium rate Opportunity to secure a permanent position
