This role is hosted by Christopher Mildyn. We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Mortgage Industry team. The position is permanent, full‑time, with a hybrid work model and includes a competitive salary, paid overtime, and a bonus structure.

$80,000.00/yr - $/yr

• Critically reviewing and preparing more complex individual, fiduciary, partnership, not‑for‑profit, and corporate tax returns.
• Conducting engagement planning, process and controls testing, analytical reviews, and accounting research.
• Effectively researching and explaining technical issues to staff, and motivating them to build their technical skills.
• Embracing and encouraging ongoing change and improvement, empowering staff at all levels to provide feedback and to personally make changes.
• Demonstrating leadership, problem‑solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, specifically in the mortgage industry.
• At least 2 years of tax or audit experience.
• A strong understanding of accounting principles and tax codes.
• The ability to work toward or have already met the 150‑semester unit requirement for CPA licensure, either under current or grandfathered standards. A CPA license is a plus.
• Exceptional problem‑solving skills, leadership qualities, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, with a high degree of urgency in completing tasks and assignments.
• The capacity to embrace and encourage ongoing change and improvement, and empower staff at all levels to provide feedback and to personally make changes.
