We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for billing insurance carriers and customers directly, following strict AR follow-up procedures, and taking necessary actions when accounts remain unpaid. This includes working with insurance adjusters, advocating for customers to maximize claim coverage, and, when necessary, filing liens, referring accounts to collections, or preparing small claims paperwork.

• Prepare and submit billing to insurance carriers and directly to customers.
• Communicate with insurance carriers and adjustors throughout the claims review process.
• Advocate for customers to ensure claims are covered whenever possible.
• Pursue payment in full of claims and customer invoices.
• Follow strict company AR follow-up guidelines consistently.
• Monitor accounts for past due balances, make collection calls, and maintain accurate notes.
• Resolve billing discrepancies with customers and carriers as needed.
• File liens, submit accounts to collection agencies, and prepare small claims paperwork when required.

• Previous AR, billing, collections, or insurance claims experience preferred but not required (willing to train the right candidate).
• Strong organizational skills and strict attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to confidently advocate with insurance carriers and communicate with customers about balances.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Quick Books Online/PSA/Service Titan experience a plus.
• Must be reliable, consistent, and able to follow structured guidelines.
• Familiarity with liens, collections, or small claims processes a plus (training provided).

• Competitive pay: $18 - $21 / Hr
