- Provide strong, ethical leadership to project management, field operations, and estimating teams.
- Develop and implement construction strategies, standards, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Have ultimate accountability for the successful completion of all assigned ground‑up projects.
- Directly monitor project financial performance, ensuring adherence to established budgets and critical path schedules.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate construction‑related risks, ensuring full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Mentor and develop Project Managers, Superintendents, and field staff, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Act as the primary construction point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (a relevant Master’s degree is a plus). - Experience:
10+ years of progressive experience in commercial, multi‑family, or industrial ground‑up construction, with 5+ years in a Director or Senior Management capacity. - Deep knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, building codes, and standards (e.g., OSHA, ADA).
- Expert‑level proficiency with project management software (Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and budgeting tools.
- Proven ability to manage large‑scale budgets, handle complex contract negotiations, and conduct financial forecasting.
- Desirable certifications: PMP, CCM, or a professional engineering/architectural license.
