Holder Construction is seeking applicants for the position of Laborer for our project located in Reno, NV.

The perfect person for this job is a team player who thrives in a challenging and fast-paced yet supported environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of teamwork, the ability to work independently on assignments, handle multiple projects at one time while remaining flexible, and working within tight deadlines.

Laborer job duties/responsibilities include loading/unloading of deliveries, handling / moving jobsite materials, cleaning/ preparing work spaces, digging, assisting safety professional, assisting carpenters, as well as a various jobsite operation.

An ideal candidate for this position will possess 1-year of construction experience and an understanding of safety and general constructability knowledge. This position will provide primary support to our field supervision and must demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks, maintain professionalism, and use critical thinking to solve issues.

Qualified Candidates for the position listed above must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects, work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, and have the ability to see & hear well either naturally or with correction.

Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.

Individuals must be able to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment, work outside and must be able to work overtime and weekend hours. Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
