Structural BIM Drafter/Modeler or BIM Manager
Description: We are seeking a mid- to senior‑level Structural BIM Drafter/Modeler or BIM Manager to join our expanding team in Reno, Nevada. This critical role involves developing, organizing, and maintaining detailed 3D structural models and construction documents in Revit. You will collaborate closely with structural engineers, architects, contractors, and other team members. The position offers clear paths for advancement, including mentorship, leadership opportunities, and exposure to challenging, high‑profile projects.

- Develop and maintain detailed 3D structural BIM models in Revit for residential and commercial projects.
- Produce clear, well‑organized structural drawings, plans, and details from engineering markups and design sketches.
- Set up and manage Revit project templates, views, sheets, and worksets for efficient project delivery.
- Coordinate models with architects and consultants to identify and resolve clashes and constructability issues.
- Ensure all drawings and models adhere to company and industry BIM standards and project‑specific requirements.
- Assist structural engineers with revisions, RFIs, and permit submittals, incorporating comments from building departments and clients.
- Support continuous improvement of BIM workflows, standards, and content libraries, and provide guidance to junior drafters.
- Proven Structural/BIM drafting experience using Revit on residential and/or commercial projects.
- Solid understanding of structural building systems and construction practices.
- Proficiency in Revit, Excel, and Google Suite.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
- Salary Range: $30/hr – $45/hr (depending on experience).
