With offices in Minden and Reno, Nevada, we serve clients in Water and Wastewater Infrastructure, Grant Opportunities, Planning, Surveying, Site Development, Hydrology/Hydraulics, Landscape Architecture, Residential Design, Water Resources, Expert Testimony, Hazard Mitigation Planning, and Roadway Maintenance & Design.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing survey proposals and manage budgets.
  • Manage field crews and maintain staff schedules and deliverables.
  • Prepare accurate, complete, and value-added work products and perform complex survey computations.
  • Perform construction staking calculations and analyze and review work of survey crews and technicians.
  • Reduce field data utilizing field codes and stringing (field to office data collection).
  • Prepare cut sheets, tentative maps, parcel maps, final maps, record of survey, and ALTA maps.
  • Interpret design plans for construction staking calculations and coordinate with engineering staff to ensure proper interpretation.
  • Analyze title reports and legal descriptions along with necessary map and deed research.
  • Assist in boundary analysis and prepare plats and legal descriptions.
  • Work closely with the Director of Surveying, Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers to obtain project information and ensure drawings are accurate and complete.
Requirements
  • Land Surveyor in training (LSIT) or Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license.
  • Proven experience in land surveying, with 4+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Trimble.
  • Strong data analysis skills for interpreting survey data accurately.
