We are seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join our team. This position requires 40 hours per week in our Reno office (this job is not remote nor hybrid). While this position is based in Reno, NV, we are open to candidates in other markets. For the right candidate, relocation support is available as part of our total rewards package and can be tailored to individual needs—including moving expenses and transition assistance—to ensure a smooth relocation experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Design and review treatment facilities, collection systems, booster and pump stations, water, reclaimed water, and wastewater master plans.
- Provide construction‑related engineering services, reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, issuing engineer directives, etc.
- Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for documentation and communication.
- Civil Engineering Degree (Professional Engineer license preferred).
- 4–6 years of relevant water/wastewater design and construction‑related engineering experience.
- Ability to work in a team environment on studies, detailed design, and construction engineering services.
- Ability to follow technical direction from Project Managers or Principals and complete design tasks and elements, coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
