We’re looking for an experienced public accountant to lead tax compliance and planning for individuals, pass-throughs, and corporations. As a Tax Manager, you’ll manage complex returns, mentor staff, shape workflows, and serve as a trusted strategic resource for clients.
What you’ll actually do:- Lead tax compliance and planning for individuals, pass-throughs, and corporations.
- Advise on multi‑state tax, residency planning, and high‑net‑worth structures.
- Prepare and review complex returns while mentoring staff and fostering growth.
- Partner with clients who value insight and see you as a strategic resource.
- Shape workflows, improve processes, and support a high‑efficiency, quality‑focused team.
- Hybrid schedule built on trust, not surveillance.

- 6+ years of public accounting tax experience.
- Strong background with partnerships, S‑Corps, C‑Corps, and individual tax.
- CPA preferred (EA also considered).
- Strong technical skill and professional presence.
- A desire to lead, mentor, and contribute to a high‑performing, client‑focused team.
Compensation: $115,000 – $130,000 (base)
Schedule: Hybrid – mix of Reno office and focused remote days
