About The Role POSITION SUMMARY
Provides lending support to Loan Officers and clerical support to the Lending Department by performing the following duties:
Loan Documentation & Funding- Prepare and process loan documents for new loans and renewals
- Organize loan file documents according to loan type
- Coordinate loan closings with title companies and ensure proper funding
- Prepare escrow instructions and send necessary documents to title companies
- Input loan details into the bank's system with accuracy
- Set up and maintain loan-related reminders and ticklers
- Process loan renewals and updates in the system
- Process loan payments and credit line draws requests
- Research and resolve customer inquiries
- Prepare and update demand statements for title companies and customers
- Handle paid loan files, including reconveyances, title and UCC releases and return of paid promissory notes to borrower
- Prepare refund checks and maintain organized records.
- Obtains follow up items such as recorded Deeds of Trust, title policies and titles from the appropriate sources after loan has closed
- Maintains ticklers
- Answers telephone calls for the loan department
- Accurately maintains files in the loan department in compliance with bank procedures
- Prepares copies of documents for filing and/or mailing
- Scan and fil documents
- Perform other duties, as may be assigned by supervisor.

- Must have the ability to work in a professional and confidential manner
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task
- Possess a high level of investigative, analytical skills - be detailed oriented
- Computer skills with working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
- Familiar with computerized loan documentation/software such as Laser Pro
- Familiar with loan processing software such as nCino
- Good understanding of the use of general office equipment (phones, scanners, copiers computers, etc).

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma. Must have three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prefer to have prior financial industry experience in loan department. Must possess a proficient understanding of the loan process and loan documentation
LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the bank
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instruction. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
