Ultrasound Technologist, ER – Full Time Nights – Reno
Location: 7515 Sky Vista Parkway, Reno, NV – ER at North Valleys.
Schedule: Full-time night shift.
Salary: $33.57 to $54.38 per hour (subject to education and experience).
Job Summary: Full-time Ultrasound Technologist position in the Emergency Department offering full benefits and a night shift schedule. The role involves patient safety protocols, maintaining federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, performing vascular, general, and intervention ultrasound procedures under guidance, and participating in continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
Responsibilities- Ensure patient safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Perform vascular, general, and intervention ultrasound procedures under ultrasound guidance.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
- Bachelor of Science degree preferred, but not required.
- Minimum one year of imaging experience.
- Specific experience and training in ultrasound preferred.
- Registered or registry-eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
