Pharmacist - Inpatient Nightshift

Renown Health is seeking a pharmacist to join our excellent inpatient pharmacy graveyard team. This position is ideal for anyone wanting to start their journey into inpatient or clinical pharmacy or that enjoys working nights with a week-on, week-off schedule. The incumbent must be able to work well with a team of other pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to provide quality drug distribution and clinical care for patients at Renown Health.

Education:

Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English. Completion of Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.

D.) degree from an ACPE accredited pharmacy program or 10 years of experience in acute care pharmacy is required. Completion of a Pharmacy Residency or equivalent training program in clinical pharmacy is preferred.

Experience:

Applicants with previous hospital pharmacy experience will be given preference.

License(s):

Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Pharmacist license.

Certification(s):

Healthcare BLS within the first 90 days of employment is required for all locations. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within the first 90 days of employment is required for location 200211, 200212 and 400211.

Computer / Typing:

Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc. Type 25 WPM.
