Summary
Interim Director of Medical Staff and Education needed for a Nevada healthcare system.
The Position- An Interim Director of Medical Staff and Education will support the medical staff operations department.
- This role reports directly to the Chief Medical Officer and manages 17 FTEs within the department.
- The position coordinates efforts of the Medical Staff and Specified Professional Personnel (SPP) across multiple medical centers, ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements, The Joint Commission standards, and Medical Staff bylaws.
- The ideal candidate is a mature leader capable of driving process improvements and managing all activities associated with accrediting agencies relevant to the department’s functions.
- Must be available to start within 2‑3 weeks of acceptance.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Certification in NAMSS, CPMCM, or CPCS is preferred.
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.

- Pay Range: $140,000 – $150,000 annually, dependent on experience, education, training, and location.
