Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule / ShiftShift: 4x10's, M-F, with 1 night on call each week and 1 weekend of 48-hour call every 5 weeks.
Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse will provide optimal patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, utilizing knowledge and skills within the context of the nursing process. Accountability for individualized patient outcomes over the entire episode of care is expected, along with comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat human responses to health problems.
- Provide optimal patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Consider family involvement in assessment and care planning efforts.
- Coordinate care with other professionals as needed.
- Maintain mental effort to ensure safe patient care and effective communication.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab is required, along with prior travel experience.
Certifications / Licensure- State of Nevada Registered Nurse license.
- State of Nevada Point of Care Analyst (POCA) license.
- AHA, BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are required.
