Spa Host (Male) – Grand Sierra Resort
Grand Sierra Resort’s Spa Department is seeking a Spa Host to greet guests, provide detailed spa tours, and maintain the spa’s cleanliness and guest service standards. The Spa Host will serve guests in person and on the phone, assist spa treatment staff, and ensure a hospitable, smooth, and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities- Answer guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice and relay accurate information about hours of operation, hotel services, directions, and transportation options.
- Ensure guests are on time for treatments by communicating where to wait and guiding them throughout the spa before service.
- Follow through on guest requests, completing all necessary communications and assisting treatment staff with spa treatment preparation and clean‑up as needed.
- Monitor guests’ safety and comfort while using spa and pool facilities.
- Work with the entire Spa & Activities team to achieve a positive, productive environment.
- Stand and exert well‑paced mobility for up to 8 hours on the feet.
- Deal with customers and team members in a tactful, respectful manner.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of spa operations experience preferred.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Strong attention to detail and engaging presentation skills.
- Ability to interpret and follow through on a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Track record of performing each essential responsibility satisfactorily.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, team members and other. The employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk and move through all areas of the casino; speak and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
May reach with hands and arms above shoulder level; bend/stoop, squat, balance, kneel, lift and push/pull. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
