We are looking for a detail-oriented and hard-working HR Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate can function in a fast-paced environment.
Job DescriptionWe’re seeking a proactive and personable HR Generalist to join our team in a part-time capacity. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys wearing multiple HR hats—from employee relations to payroll and recruitment. You’ll be the go-to resource for day-to-day HR operations and a key contributor to our company culture.
Summary of major responsibilities:- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee questions and concerns
- Support a positive and inclusive workplace culture
- Assist with conflict resolution and performance management conversations
- Payroll & Benefits Administration:
- Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time
- Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and inquiries
- Liaise with benefit providers and ensure compliance with applicable laws
- Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Post job openings and coordinate candidate interviews
- Assist hiring managers with candidate selection and offer letters
- Facilitate smooth onboarding experiences for new hires
- Compliance & Documentation:
- Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality
- Support compliance with federal and state employment laws
- Assist with policy updates and internal communications
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources or related field
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, payroll systems, and benefits administration
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms
