Job Description

We’re seeking a proactive and personable HR Generalist to join our team in a part-time capacity. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys wearing multiple HR hats—from employee relations to payroll and recruitment. You’ll be the go-to resource for day-to-day HR operations and a key contributor to our company culture.

Summary of major responsibilities:
  • Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee questions and concerns
    • Support a positive and inclusive workplace culture
    • Assist with conflict resolution and performance management conversations
  • Payroll & Benefits Administration:
    • Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time
    • Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and inquiries
    • Liaise with benefit providers and ensure compliance with applicable laws
  • Recruitment & Onboarding:
    • Post job openings and coordinate candidate interviews
    • Assist hiring managers with candidate selection and offer letters
    • Facilitate smooth onboarding experiences for new hires
  • Compliance & Documentation:
    • Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality
    • Support compliance with federal and state employment laws
    • Assist with policy updates and internal communications
Requirements and skills:
  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources or related field
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, payroll systems, and benefits administration
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms
