A bit about us:

The Payroll Manager oversees and manages all payroll functions for the company’s construction operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of weekly/bi-weekly payroll for field and office employees. This role requires deep understanding of construction-specific payroll factors, including prevailing wage laws, union agreements, multi-state payroll rules, certified payroll reporting, job costing, and compliance with federal and state labor regulations.

Job Details

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 7–10 years of progressive payroll experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Proven experience with payroll in the construction or manufacturing industries.
• Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and construction-focused job cost accounting.
• Proficiency with the UKG Ready PR platform required.
• Demonstrated ability to manage payroll for multiple states and legal entities.
• In-depth understanding of payroll compliance, taxation, and labor laws.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred.
