Your role at MOBE

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Lead with a strong focus on data visualization, dashboard design, and insight delivery. This role will be responsible for elevating the quality, consistency, and usability of all visual analytics across teams. The ideal candidate combines deep technical BI expertise with strong design intuition, an understanding of user behavior, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling stories that drive business decisions.

This candidate doesn't just build dashboards, but crafts intuitive visual experiences that make insights stand out.

Responsibilities
  • Lead visualization excellence
    :
    Set the standard for dashboard design across the organization, establishing best practices for layout, color theory, interactivity, and visual hierarchy that make complex data immediately understandable.
  • Transform BI deliverables
    :
    Evaluate existing dashboards and identify opportunities to improve layout, usability, performance, and storytelling.
  • Master modern BI tools
    :
    Build sophisticated, user-centered dashboards in Tableau and/or Power BI that showcase advanced visualization techniques and interactive design.
  • Champion data storytelling
    :
    Work closely with stakeholders across marketing, operations, health outcomes, and leadership to understand their decision-making needs and create visualizations that answer their most critical questions.
  • Optimize the data foundation
    :
    Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data structures support high-quality visualizations.
  • Collaborate across teams
    :
    Partner with Data Science, Analytics Engineering, Medical Economics, and Data Ops to ensure BI initiatives align with business goals and leverage the best available data.
  • Uphold data integrity
    :
    Ensure all visualizations adhere to data governance, security, and quality standards.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Expert-level proficiency in Tableau with a portfolio demonstrating sophisticated visualization design and exceptional dashboard quality.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics with a proven track record of transforming visualization quality and driving measurable business impact through better design.
  • Strong technical foundation in SQL and DBT for data modeling and pipeline optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to elevate dashboard quality, enhance user experience, and translate complex data into visual narratives.
  • Experience managing stakeholders and translating business needs into compelling visual solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience working with healthcare data.
  • Proficiency with Git Lab and version control for collaboration and documentation.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or R for advanced analytics and automation is a bonus.
  • Portfolio or examples of dashboards where you've significantly improved clarity, usability, and business impact.
