Our Nevada based Law Firm, that has been around for 70 years, with this office located in Reno, Nevada, has an opening for an Experienced Litigation Secretary / Paralegal to work with 1 Partner and 1 Associate in various areas of law including Complex Civil and Commercial Litigation cases.

• 5-10 years plus of Litigation experience
• Experience in both Civil and Commercial Litigation is preferred
• Computer savvy in MSWord, Outlook and Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and able to communicate with clients, opposing counsel, etc.
• E-filing experience in both State and Federal Courts
• Knowledge of Local Rules of Civil Procedure
• Paralegal Certification is required

• Assist the Attorneys in various areas of law will include the following:
  Civil, Commercial, Complex Cases, Construction Law, etc.
• Preparing legal documents including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery requests / responses and correspondence
• Assist Attorneys in all phases of Litigation cases from initiation to trial
• Attend client meetings, depositions, hearings, and trials as needed
• E-filing in both State and Federal Courts
• Trial preparation

Salary will depend on your experience, however, we are in the range of $65-80K for the right person.
