Data Science Manager
Director of Business Intelligence leads the organization’s data strategy, ensuring accurate, timely, and actionable insights that drive operational excellence and strategic decision‑making. This role is pivotal in leveraging data to optimize performance, support value‑based care initiatives, and advance organizational goals.
The Director of Business Intelligence oversees enterprise‑wide data governance, analytics, and reporting functions. Working collaboratively with leadership and cross‑functional teams, this role transforms complex data into meaningful insights that inform strategic planning, financial performance, and quality improvement initiatives.
Essential Functions Leadership & Strategy- Champion Northern Nevada HOPES’ mission and culture, aligning departmental operations with organizational values.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive data governance framework to ensure integrity, security, and compliance.
- Establish strategic goals for the Business Intelligence unit that align with organizational priorities.
- Lead visioning, planning, and implementation of innovative data solutions to support operational efficiency and growth.
- Oversee data sourcing, integration, and validation processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics tools for real‑time performance monitoring.
- Compile and interpret business intelligence trends to provide actionable recommendations for leadership.
- Utilize predictive analytics and modeling to identify opportunities for improvement and future growth.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for programs and departments.
- Support Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives through data‑driven insights.
- Provide feedback and resources to teams for performance enhancement and compliance adherence.
- Modify processes and programs based on data analysis to achieve desired outcomes.
- Partner with executive leadership to guide strategic decisions using data insights.
- Facilitate cross‑departmental collaboration to ensure data‑driven alignment of goals.
- Communicate complex data findings in clear, actionable terms for diverse audiences.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and organizational policies related to data usage.
- Develop processes to maintain compliance with federal, state, and payer reporting standards.
