When the General Manager is away you will oversee departments, boost revenue, keep costs in check, and help teammates shine. • Collaborate with departments – supervise multiple units and drive hotel profitability by managing teams and partnering with the General Manager to keep everything running smoothly.
• Spot and solve challenges – proactively identify issues and tackle them head‑on to ensure daily operations flow efficiently.
• Recruit and coach – recruit, hire, and train Guest Services staff and support all team members through development programs.
• Communicate clearly – listen actively, address concerns, and keep communication lines crystal clear with guests and colleagues.
• Analyze financial data – confidently work with financial information and data to support hotel operations.
• Leverage technology – proficient with Windows Operating Systems for smooth management and insightful reporting.
• Set professional appearance – lead by example on grooming and appearance to meet company guidelines.
• Deliver hospitality heroics – maintain a friendly, service‑focused attitude toward every interaction.

• At least five years of progressive hotel experience (Rooms or Food & Beverage), or a four‑year degree with 2–3 years of related experience, or a two‑year degree with 3–4 years of related experience.
• Supervisory background required.
• Ability to stay calm and objective under pressure.
• Must hold or obtain certifications such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid.
