Base Pay Range

$70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

Our client is a food manufacturing company that is seeking a highly motivated Sanitation Supervisor to lead and oversee all sanitation activities within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. The ideal candidate will have experience managing sanitation programs in a food production setting and a strong understanding of GMPs and HACCP principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain sanitation programs to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company standards.
  • Supervise and train sanitation team members, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
  • Schedule and coordinate cleaning and sanitation activities for production equipment and facility areas.
  • Monitor and verify sanitation effectiveness through inspections and documentation.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Production teams to resolve sanitation-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate records for audits and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and ensure proper usage of chemicals and equipment.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sanitation processes and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of sanitation experience in food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, SSOPs (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures), and allergen control programs.
  • Familiarity with chemical handling, dilution systems, and CIP (Clean-In-Place) processes.
  • Previous leadership experience managing sanitation teams in a high-volume production environment.
  • Ability to interpret and implement FDA, USDA, and third-party audit requirements.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting sanitation issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with sanitation documentation systems.
