We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a
Programming Machine Operator I in Reno, NV. In this entry-level role, you will be responsible for operating, programming, and maintaining automated machinery and equipment to ensure efficient production processes. You will work closely with the production team to meet quality standards and deadlines while adhering to safety protocols.
Fully In Office:
Monday-Friday (12 am - 8:30 am) w/ OT and Sat. requirements
Hiring Range/Hourly Rate: $19.00 USD hourly
What You'll Be Doing :
Operate and monitor automated machinery, including CNC machines, robotic systems, or other programmable equipment.
Program machines using pre-defined software or instructions to meet production specifications.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to set up machines accurately.
Maintain accurate records of production activities, machine settings, and maintenance schedules.
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and resolve issues.
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge of equipment.
What We Are Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machine operation or programming is a plus.
Basic computer skills and proficiency in using software related to machine programming.
Familiarity with CNC machines, robotic systems, or similar equipment is preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Physical ability to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
