Millworks Estimator

Victory Woodworks is hiring a Custom Architectural Millworks Estimator.

We are looking for a detail‑oriented, self‑motivated individual who loves a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. We are a highly entrepreneurial, customer‑oriented, custom casework and millwork firm.

Responsibilities:

• After determining scope, complete accurate and detailed take‑offs using Plan Swift and Project Pak.
• Prepare and present all needed information at the Hand‑Off meeting.
• Maintain relationships with sub‑contractors and vendors to ensure quality proposals.
• Organize all information necessary for the bidding process, including specifications, plans and a list of the products to be bid, and distribute info to appropriate vendors for bidding.
• Follow up with trade contractors and suppliers to ensure bids are returned in a timely manner.

Experience and Skills:

• Thorough knowledge of millwork and cabinet related materials and hardware (wood species, veneer, core material, laminate, solid surfacing functional hardware, decorative hardware, counter top materials, glass, finishes, molding, etc.) required.
• 3+ years in the High End, Custom, Commercial, Architectural Millworks industry required.
• 2+ years estimating experience.
• Thorough knowledge of custom commercial architectural millwork and AWI standards.
• Understanding of industry standards and guidelines such as AWI, WI, ADA compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Document Management Software.
• Experience with Trade Soft Software (Project Pak) and Plan Swift a plus.
• Ability to work full‑time in our Reno facility.
• Ability to work in the US, now and in the future without sponsorship.
