This RN Program Coordinator opportunity is full time at 40 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient schedule. We are looking for a dynamic individual who provides direct patient care to adult patient populations. The role involves addressing the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment, communicating effectively with physicians, team members, and vendors regarding needed implants and supplies, assessing operating room readiness, and ensuring all appropriate needs of the surgical team are met.
The coordinator will monitor, position and assist patients during procedures and serve as a team member and resource for the Surgical Services Department, participating in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
- Responsible for specified service line, including supply management, physician relations and satisfaction, vendor relations, and education of staff.
- Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other health team members as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.
- Functions as a liaison to service‑specific vendors, coordinating flow of materials and collaborating with Sterile Processing to ensure patient and physician needs are met.
- Assists in policy review and physician order sets.
- Trains all nursing staff in the specific service line.

Qualifications- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Nevada.
- BSN preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years Operating Room Experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
