As a Registered Nurse, deliver quality general/psychiatric nursing care to patients who are hospitalized for treatment of psychiatric or emotional disorders; support the hospital and program philosophy of care and ensure the safety and well‑being of each patient. Perform suicide assessments and understand suicide precautions. Identify and incorporate each patient's unique needs into a comprehensive and individualized care plan. Provide accurate and litigable documentation that meets current standards and policies.

Respond to telephone and face‑to‑face inquiries from persons seeking mental health care or information about mental health‑related services.

Through a systematic process of interaction with patients, their significant others, and the appropriate health care providers, collect and analyze data regarding the patient's physical, psychosocial, environmental, self‑care, educational, spiritual, cultural and anticipated discharge needs; determine patient's alcohol or drug toxicity; identify signs of withdrawal; conduct screenings or assessments to determine needs of treatment. Document physician's phone orders. Maintain knowledge of legal guidelines pertaining to EMTALA/COBRA and abuse/neglect reporting.

• Current Nevada RN License required
• ADN / BSN or equivalent preferred
• Current CPR certification
