Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM

• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 hours

• No call requirements

• Nevada RN license required prior to start

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

• Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience required

• Experience caring for Neuro Trauma and post Neuro-surgery patients required

• Preferred experience with post Alteplase and/or post Thrombectomy patients

• Preferred experience with post neurosurgical patients with external ventricular drains

• Care for patients with ischemic/hemorrhagic stroke, neurologic tumors, seizures

• Also care for general Medical ICU patients with conditions including DKA, sepsis, and respiratory issues

• May be required to float to other units based on competency level

• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Eve + Day = 1 holiday)

• May be required to work major holidays and pick up additional shifts

• Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends and holidays

• Provide comprehensive nursing services using the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

• Work in fast-paced, high-volume environment requiring intensive mental effort
