American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Surgery/PACU Recovery Room position requiring an active NV license and a minimum of one prior 13-week travel assignment.

• Work in the Recovery Room/PACU of a surgical services department
• Schedule consists of 4x10-hour shifts
• 13-week assignment length
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• EPIC EMR used, with training provided during orientation or test-out option available

• Active NV RN license required
• AHA-issued certifications required (CPI required for Behavioral/Psych)
• Minimum of 2 years of PACU/recovery room experience required
• Minimum of one recent 13-week travel assignment within the past year required prior to consideration
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Provide post-anesthesia recovery nursing care to surgical patients
• Minimum of 2 major holidays must be covered during the assignment
• A 13-week break is required for returning travelers before starting a new contract at this facility, regardless of prior contract length
• Requested RTO must be submitted with the application, as time off will not be added to the end of the contract to compensate
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply if they meet the minimum travel experience requirement
