Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery

Reno, NV | Acute Care

Contract (13 Weeks) | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Days | Onsite | Travel

• Provide direct patient care in a high-risk Labor and Delivery unit featuring 15 labor beds, 9 antepartum beds, and 3 OR suites
• Manage and monitor high-risk obstetric patients in a fast-paced, high-volume acute care environment
• May be required to float to other maternal units, including Postpartum and NICU, up to competency level
• Participate in weekend, holiday, and schedule-period additional shifts as determined by department needs
• Adapt to a dynamic schedule that varies based on department and organizational needs

• Active Nevada State RN license required prior to start date
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience in a high-risk hospital setting
• Prior travel nursing experience required

• STABLE certification preferred
• Experience in a high-volume, Level I or Level II trauma-equivalent environment
• Familiarity with antepartum care and OR suite procedures within an OB setting

• Work in an extremely busy and fast-paced regional medical center serving a broad multi-state area, offering exposure to complex, high-acuity cases comparable to a Level I trauma environment
• Expected 36 hours per week with no on-call requirements, providing a structured and predictable workload within a clinically advanced setting
