American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring CVICU experience with POD 0 Open Hearts, IABP, and Impella along with an active NV RN license.

• Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) setting
• Variable 3x12-hour shifts, likely starting on days with potential transition to nights
• Call requirements apply

• Active NV RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience required
• Experience with POD 0 Open Hearts required
• Experience with IABP and Impella required, must be clearly listed on resume
• Strong organizational and leadership skills required
• Expert analysis and patient assessment skills required
• Thorough knowledge of arrhythmia management, pathophysiology, and hemodynamics required
• Strong communication, coordination, and delegation skills in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment required

• Provide expert-level care for cardiovascular ICU patients including post-open heart surgery cases
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility, no local candidates accepted
• First-time travelers may be considered if experience requirements are met
