American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring CVICU experience with POD 0 Open Hearts, IABP, and Impella management.

• Work in the Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) setting
• Cares for post-op POD 0 Open Heart patients requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring
• Utilizes IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) and Impella devices
• Night shift schedule: 3x12s,
• Call required

• Active NV RN license required, no pending licenses accepted
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience in a US hospital required
• Clearly documented experience with POD 0 Open Hearts, IABP, and Impella required on resume
• Strong organizational and leadership skills required
• Expert ability to assess patient conditions and analyze complex cardiac cases
• Thorough knowledge of arrhythmia management, pathophysiology, and hemodynamics
• Ability to communicate, coordinate, and delegate effectively in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment
• Two manager or supervisor references verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

• Provide expert-level critical care nursing to complex cardiovascular surgical patients
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility for consideration
• RTO must be disclosed prior to consideration
