Full-time (or Part-time) Licensed Veterinarian Needed
Animal Medical Center of Reno is an AAHA accredited small animal veterinary facility located in South Reno. We are experiencing a growth spurt and look for a licensed, experienced veterinarian to join our team. Our practice focuses on preventive medicine, surgery, dentistry, emergency/urgent care and occasional house calls. We offer digital x‑ray, digital dental x‑ray, digital ultrasound, therapeutic laser, and an in‑house laboratory.
We are also introducing holistic modalities and functional medicine; applicants with these skills or interests are highly encouraged to apply. The position is full‑time but part‑time applicants are welcome if the fit is right.
- Current licensure as a Veterinarian in the state of Nevada
- At least 2 years experience in practice
- Ability to perform routine surgeries such as spay, neuter, mass removal, dentistry and dental extractions
- Professional, friendly communication with clients in exam rooms and on the phone, including discussion of lab results and treatment plans
- Familiarity with EMR software and an online client chat service
- Certification or experience with holistic modalities and exotic species is a plus

- Schedule negotiations; typical 4‑10 hour days Monday‑Friday, with three appointment days and one surgery day per week (8 am‑5 pm). Potential 1‑2 Saturdays per month, with renegotiated benefits if required.
