Prepares baked goods according to recipes and production specifications.

• Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries per production and catering sheets; assist in production planning.
• Ensure proper food preparation by following approved recipes and production standards.
• Complete production records to include waste tracking, used/unused portions and product shortages; inform supervisor when supplies low.
• Maintain presentation, food quality, portion control and proper serving temperatures.
• Maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies and utensils.
• Handle food items appropriately and with safety regulations during preparation and service.
• Clean equipment and workstation before leaving area; keep display equipment clean.
• Interact with customers, resolve complaints in a friendly manner, relay concerns to supervisors.
• Keep up with peak production and service calmly, accurately and efficiently.
• Check food presentation, serving and display per standards.
• Follow sanitation and safety principles, ensuring corporate and OSHA safety standards.
• Complete shift work assigned in a timely and thorough manner per departmental standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
