The Expediter is the liaison between line cooks and food servers. Responsibilities include ensuring food order is complete, assuring quality, temperature and presentation are met and exercise food runners to deliver food from the line to the guest in a timely manner.

• Must maintain proper sanitation environment to include proper use, cleaning and handling of all equipment and product
• Assure food quality, temperature, and presentation
• Assure timely arrival of food to the guests
• Ensure open communication between service staff and cooking staff
• Ensure preparation of food items meet specific standards
• Maintain superior level of professionalism
• Knowledge of kitchen and storage areas
• Timely execution of all responsibilities and assignments
• Monitor, train and develop employee’s skills
• Supervise and instruct others in quality, presentation and production
• Expedite during meal periods to provide best quality and service
• Maintain regular, predictable and punctual attendance
• Carry out policies and procedures of Caesars Entertainment

Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment and be detailed oriented.

Must be able to understand and comply and enforce established company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures with self and staff.

Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and guests.

Maintain communication with other leads to ensure smooth transition from shift to shift.

Must possess strong communication skills and work as a team.

Must maintain and ensure a high level of sanitation and safety. Must have a sense of urgency and organization.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Work may be performed in an area, which may be unusually noisy and crowded

Mobility to include bending, reaching, prolonged standing and walking, accessing and lifting items from floor level to six feet high

Normal sense of smell, touch, sound and vision range

Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity

Work area is subject to variable temperatures

May be subject to smoking environment and moderate noise

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
:
Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech – both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
