Customer Service / Dept Leader

Responsibilities- Establish and maintain the Front‑end department's environment and safety standards
- Direct and supervise all day‑to‑day functions, duties and activities for the Front‑end department
- Execute best practices, goals and Front‑end standards established for the department
- Encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service under the Customer 1st strategy
- Maintain inventory, pricing and promotions for the department
- Monitor and control supply expenses, cash control and sales records
- Prepare and maintain the department's budget and profit‑and‑loss reviews
- Develop and implement a department business plan to achieve desired results
- Schedule Front‑end associates to provide adequate coverage
- Administer safety programs, report incidents and ensure compliance with laws and guidelines
- Effective communication skills
- Basic math knowledge (counting, addition, subtraction)
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Retail or customer service experience
- Knowledge and ability to respond to product questions and make suggestions
- Experience with inventory management, pricing, and promotional activities
- Understanding of safety regulations and procedures
- Strong leadership, collaboration and coaching skills
- Ability to manage cash control, sales and financial reports
- Proficient with computer‑assisted ordering and inventory systems
- Compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
