About the Role:

We’re looking for a driven Outside Sales Representative to lead equipment sales across Carson City/South Lake Tahoe Counties, operating out of our Reno branch.

This is a high-impact, field-focused role where you will own your territory, cultivate strong customer relationships, and expand market growth. You’ll represent the full line of Bobcat equipment and complementary products—supporting customers who rely on us to keep their operations productive, efficient, and moving forward.

What You’ll Do:
  • Develop new business and drive revenue growth by generating leads, prospecting, and building lasting customer relationships.
  • Sell and promote Bobcat® equipment and all approved product lines within your assigned territory.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas and financial targets.
  • Proactively identify, qualify, and motivate prospects using cold calling, lead management, and proposal presentations.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular reporting.
  • Represent Bobcat Central at conventions, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Develop competitive pricing strategies and long‑term agreements with key accounts.
  • Stay current on product knowledge, industry trends, and market conditions.
  • Deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
  • Maintain continuity in customer relationships through frequent face‑to‑face visits.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven success in outside sales equipment, agriculture, construction, industrial, or similar preferred.
  • Comfortable working in the field the majority of the time.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
  • Valid CA driver’s license and clean DMV record; ability to travel locally between work sites.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) a plus.
  • Energetic, passionate, self‑motivated, and resourceful with an entrepreneurial drive.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and a fanatical commitment to customer service.
  • High ethical standards, respect for diversity, and a collaborative spirit.
  • Capable of operating, demonstrating, and safely handing equipment.

Compensation: Base $34,320 - $250,000 + (Uncapped Commission) (unlimited potential based on performance)
