Field Botanist & Vegetation Specialist (NEPA/Wetlands)
Nexus Environmental Consultants, Inc. seeks a Botanist/Vegetation Specialist based in Elko or Reno, Nevada. The role supports NEPA and permitting projects through field surveys and assessment work.
Responsibilities
- Conduct vegetation surveys and map plant communities.
- Assess riparian health.
- Assist with wetlands surveys.
- Support NEPA and permitting projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in botany or a related field.
- 0–1 year of experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% and work in remote areas.
- Strong attention to detail.
Salary: USD 50,000–90,000 per year.
