Public Safety Officer - SMRMC Security at Saint Mary's Health Network

The network provides inpatient, outpatient, and ancillary services across a 352-bed acute care hospital, a fully integrated Medical Group, urgent care clinics, and primary care facilities.

Implements security services, including electronic surveillance and systematic manual security officer rounds. Coordinates facility response to potential problems for patients, employees, and visitors. Enforces policies and procedures, ensuring equitable enforcement. Establishes guidelines and monitoring techniques to create a safe workplace and environment of care. Works with the Environment of Care committee for a multidisciplinary approach to security and safety. Participates in employee awareness and education.

Coordinates hospital parking policy and lost and found policy. Drives as needed for company business.

• Experience in healthcare security or related field preferred
• Ability to pass physical requirements
• Valid driver’s license required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
