Assistant Security Shift Manager

Atlantis Casino Resort Spa seeks a skilled leader to manage security shifts, protect guests and assets, and enforce policies.

• Lead the Security Department shift in patrol, inspection, and incident response.
• Enforce all laws, deter criminal activity, and manage emergency situations.
• Interview witnesses, prepare detailed security reports, and testify in court.
• Participate in daily safety and theft prevention audits and provide exceptional guest service.
• Ensure that shift training and updates are conducted for all Security personnel.
• Assist the Security Director, Assistant Security Director, or Risk & Safety Manager with additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience or higher.
• Strong management experience and knowledge of hotel security operations.
• Valid Nevada driver’s license and gaming license.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Defensive Tactics certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) and hotel reservation systems.
• Good judgment, common sense, and ability to follow company policy and guidelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for documentation of incidents and suspicious activity.
• Physical fitness and emergency response capability for detaining individuals.
• Compliance with grooming standards: no visible tattoos, piercings, or unnatural hair colors.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years supervisory or management experience in hospitality or security.
• Strong management experience.

• Valid Nevada driver’s license.
• Gaming license.

• Telephone.
• Computer with Windows and Microsoft Office, ITrak preferred.
• Computerized hotel reservation system (HMS/Infor). Preference for experience.
• General office equipment.
• Patrol vehicle.
